Do not Lie, Cheat and Steal, nor tolerate those who do

Seems simple

These are the expectations from the West Point Military Academy for its cadets.

Of course Ray Lambert did not go to the Academy, it is my understanding from Marie that he had a troubled youth,  and was involved in some violence (something about a stabbing) while in high school.  They take the best and the brightest.  He does not qualify.

Nontheless, these seem like pretty basic rules for leaders miliatry or civilian.

Three rules of thumb

1. Does this action attempt to deceive anyone or allow anyone to be deceived?
2. Does this action gain or allow the gain of privilege or advantage to which I or someone else would not otherwise be entitled?
3. Would I be dissatisfied by the outcome if I were on the receiving end of this action?

Lie about intent

Cheat on spouse(s).  Perhaps they broke up two marriages instead of just one.  (Lying and cheating)

House shopping with the boss. (Lying and cheating)

Promotions from the boss (stealing)

Hide expense account money (who approved those expenses? Ray?) (stealing)

Buy presents for Ray Lambert's house (stealing from marital assets)

This private blog is an expression of intolerance for those who do lie, cheat and steal.
