My response to a recent letter from my ex's attorney

Cincinnati, OH 45202

Dear Ms. S,

I am writing in response to your October 17, 2013 letter.  I deny your unfounded allegations.

I have vented and I readily admit that I have no respect for Raymond Lambert.  I also understand that I am not alone.

Ms. Hanna’s promotion is between her and her board.  My understanding that her relationship with Mr. Lambert was consensual and of mutual benefit to both of them.  Again, whether or not that had anything to do with her promotion is board function.   I do have my opinion on this matter.

Early on I offered complete confidentiality and a non-disclosure agreement.  Your client rejected this.  You drafted the language in the divorce decree.

However, before pursuing frivolous litigation, I would suggest that you review the timeline between her leaving the family home, the subsequent board meeting, executive session and her subsequent purchase of furniture for Mr. Lambert, and the Ohio Ethic regulations.  I believe she moved out on June 5, 2012.  The board meeting and her performance were led  by Raymond Lambert on June 29th.  On July 9th she purchased a $400 gift to Mr. Lambert and had it delivered to his home.  I believe you have a copy of the receipt for the furniture in your divorce file that your client admitted to purchasing.

I would suggest to you that the Ohio Ethics law may also be applicable in this matter.  It is my understanding that this applies to school officials.

(D) No public official or employee shall use or authorize the use of the authority or influence of office or employment to secure anything of value or the promise or offer of anything of value that is of such a character as to manifest a substantial and improper influence upon the public official or employee with respect to that person's duties.
(E) No public official or employee shall solicit or accept anything of value that is of such a character as to manifest a substantial and improper influence upon the public official or employee with respect to that person's duties.
(F) No person shall promise or give to a public official or employee anything of value that is of such a character as to manifest a substantial and improper influence upon the public official or employee with respect to that person's duties.

II. Conflict of Interest
Violations of R.C. sections 102.03, 102.04 and 102.07 are first-degree misdemeanor criminal offenses, punishable by a fine of up to $1000 and/or a maximum of 6 months in jail. See R.C. sections 102.99(B); 2929.21.

As you implied in your letter, professional licenses are valuable.

I also thought this was interesting:
Adultery Article 134 UCMJ
Elements.
(1) That the accused wrongfully had sexual intercourse with a certain person;
(2) That, at the time, the accused or the other person was married to someone else; and
(3) That, under the circumstances, the conduct of the accused was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces.

Retired members of the uniformed services who are entitled to retirement pay are also subject to the UCMJ, as are retired reservists who are receiving hospital care in the VA system

How to file a complaint

I also understand that the treasurer of Connections Academy is currently under indictment.

If there is an issue with Ms. Hanna’s employment, I would suggest that it may be related to the recent report card of Connections Academy.  I believe this is accurate:

Exercising my First Amendment Rights, I have shared information with friends, neighbors, and colleagues .  One of which was a neighbor and ex-employee of Connections Academy.  I frankly was surprised on how much he disliked (a gross understatement) Ray Lambert and Marie Hanna.  His health has not been good and he believes that Marie and Ray may have made disparaging remarks about him, interfering with his employment prospects.   He was not at all surprised about their relationship.  I think he indicated that they both should be fired.  I think he is still in contact with Connections Academy employees.  You might ask Ms. Hanna if any of her employees have talked to any ex-employees.  I also have a private blog which I find therapeutic.  It deals with betrayal, ethics, honor, and charter schools.  I doubt that Ms. Hanna, Mr. Lambert or Connections Academy would enjoy reading it.

I understand that Thomas XXXX and David XXXXX have shared information about their mother with friends.  I have advised them that ethics are critical in a business environment.   As Ms. Hanna has told me in the past, Cincinnati can be a small town.

I presume that you client will stipulate that the United States Constitution applies to any threatened litigation.  I understand that Ms. Hanna has received a substantial settlement in the divorce and is more than capable of prosecuting a frivolous lawsuit.  Please be advised that I am equally prepared to vigorously defend myself, including appropriate counter claims, against unfounded allegations.

Your allegation that I have somehow violated Federal Communications laws is equally unfounded.  I have never had access to Ms. Hanna’s passwords, however, I do have access to my computer, which she shared, my internet, and my printer.  At the time she was married, careless, vehemently denied any inappropriate relationship with Mr. Lambert and indicated she was not seeking a divorce.

Please complete your investigation before making any other unfounded allegations.  I would suggest that you start with the Connections Academy staff.  If, for consideration, your client wants to revisit a non-disclosure agreement, please let me know.

I appreciate your attention to this matter.

Sincerely

David

Why Motorcycles are better than women and vice versa

  • When riding, you and your Motorcycle both arrive at the same time.
  • Motorcycles don't care about how many other Motorcycles you have.

Hmm...ok, to be fair motorcycles can be better than men also. Here are some reasons:

  • Motorcycles are better than men because they have a kill switch.
  • Motorcycles are better than men because there is nothing quite like having nothing but horsepower throbbing between your legs.
  • When motorcycles spring a leak the only place it splashes is on the road.

  • Motorcyles don't ask you to cook dinner.
  • Motorcycles don't roll over and pass out after you've gone for a ride
The following is 50 reasons why women can be as good as, or better than, motorcycles:

1) A good woman maintains herself.
2) A good woman can help you get more motorcycles.

17) You should be a skilled expert before attempting internal modifications to either one.
18) Both can hurt you if you misuse them.
19) Even the best motorcycle can't bring you chicken soup when you have a cold.

27) It's hard to keep up with the fastest kinds of either one.
28) With either you can still have a good time going slow.
29) Both can cause your heart to pound, and make you sweat and shake.
30) Spending too much time thinking about either one qualifies as an obsession.
31) Both can provide years of good times.
32) Life is more interesting with either one.
33) Your parents may disapprove of either.

49) Both are a challenge to master.
50) I can't live without either one.

Ohio Connections Academy Treasurer

Same treasurer as Ohio Connections Academy.    I met her once.    Perhaps not the most thorough treasurer but perfect if you do not want or need too many details about the money flow? Come by once a quarter and bless our books?  I always wondered how much of the money from Ohio Taxpayers stays in Ohio and how much ends up in Baltimore?  I personally think that the money should stay in Ohio.

She is an attractive lady.  I wonder if Ray Lambert personally selected her?

Of course there is a presumption of innocence. I wonder if she is still the treasurer?  Who audits the treasurer?

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A warrant that was briefly issued for the two women who were indicted for stealing from an Over-the-Rhine school has been recalled.

Lisa Hamm and Stephanie Millard are both facing 26 counts of theft in office, tampering with records, tampering with evidence and unauthorized use of property for taking property from the Ohio Department of Education and/or the Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy.

The indictment comes after an investigation by the state auditor's office.

The pair were scheduled to appear in Hamilton County court on Friday morning. Neither showed up so the judge issued a warrant for their arrests.

Attorney Mike Allen tells FOX19 that his clients didn't receive any notice that they were due in court.

The defense and prosecution came to an agreement to withdraw the warrant and their case has been moved to Friday, April 22.

According to the indictment that was filed in Hamilton County, the incidents took place from October 2006 until February of this year. Hamm is accused of taking more than 20 trips with staff and family members, some for training purposes but most for "best practice visits," and spending way over the allotted fund amounts approved by the board. Millard, the school's contracted treasurer, paid each month's credit card bills without the knowledge of board members.

The alleged misspent money totals more than $148,000.

Court documents state that among Hamm's trips was a $20,000, 10-day tour through California which covered expenses such as a rental car with a hired drivers, expensive meals and hotel stays above and beyond what was required for her training in San Diego. On other occasion, Hamm was supposed to make visits to Chicago charter schools but attended a Tina Turner concert instead. Hamm also coordinated a trip to Boston to see Oprah Winfrey and took a sight seeing tour of Europe when the purpose of her trip was to fulfill residency requirements for her doctorate program.

According to the school's website, Hamm is the superintendent, founder and developer of the school, which opened in 1999. The school has an enrollment of 700 students in grades K-12.

Hamm has been suspended without pay.

It has been an interesting year

David,

I am so sorry to hear what you learned and so sorry that it occurred.  Had hoped that the gains were realistic and would grow.  I have waited to respond trying to decide what msg I wanted to communicate.  And I decided this was it.  Sometimes that is the outcome, you have every right to be hurt, angry and whatever else you feel.  Please remember that the feelings do not create license to act out (I thought what you wrote made good sense) and for your sake I still recommend a thoughtful response that utilizes both hemispheres of your brain.  It is in your best interest as well as the boys.  And please do limit what you share with the boys about the whys of the outcome of your marriage as that is about the marriage not them or either of your roles as parents.  It also can create a sense of them needing to choose sides/loyalties that is detrimental to your relationship with them and their own mental health.  It is ok to share how you feel (to a point) and what the plan of action is so they can feel secure at this stage it is all about independence for them and I know neither of you want them to regress.

How can I support you from here?  Would it be ok if I called to check in on you?  I have some opportunities tomorrow.  I also saw the appt for Monday at 5 and wondered if that was you, both or her....any combination is fine by me but would like to check in with you before then too.

Hi Cymbria,

It has been an interesting weekend,  On Saturday, Marie was in charge of homecoming and I went to visit my son at OU.  Thomas was due home at 1 and Marie went to bed while I waited up for our homecoming king.  I heard a buzz from her purse and looked to see if Thomas had left a message.  I found an unfamiliar phone and opened it up.  There is only one number being called on the phone, Ray Lambert.  There has been a total of 54 hours of calls on the phone including some from Saturday.  There was also a picture of Marie’s naked butt and another of a hotel room.  There is no doubt in my mind that she has been continuing to carry on with Ray.  I presume the month to month phone has been recently purchased.

I was obviously crushed.  I thought we were making some progress, but obviously I was wrong.  Perhaps this is why she has been so circumspect with any time table for reunification.  I did send Ray a text stating simply “fuck you Ray, you have no honor”.   As an ex-military officer I thought that this might hit a nerve.  I appreciate it does take two to tango.

I asked Marie to leave that night.  I ranted some about Ray and how they have screwed up our family.

I did tell our sons about the situation.  It seems that she is on a track for mutual assured destruction, financially, family, socially and perhaps her career.  I see no benefit in keeping her betrayal  a secret.

I sent the email below yesterday.

Again, I am very sad and disappointed.  I am not sure if you have any advice but appreciate the opportunity to vent.

Begin forwarded message:

From: Marie Hanna
Subject: Re: Separation

Thank you for letting Thomas stay with you this week.

Sent from my iPhone

Marie,

This is incredibly hard to write.  As you are probably aware I am very  sad and disappointed.  I thought we were making progress but apparently I was wrong.  I have talked to our sons and explained things the best I can.  Your continuing to carry on with Ray  Lambert does not work for me and I can see no benefit to our family.  He has tried to call your special phone multiple times.  I am impressed on how often and how much you talk.

I note that you left your watch here.  You can have Thomas come pick it up along with your special phone and  his medicine.  Let me know what time.  He can stay here starting Tuesday when you are out of town.  If your plans change let me know.

It has been almost five months since you moved out, putatively for the benefit of Thomas.  I no longer think that is the case.   I think we should make our separation formal.  It is not what I wanted but I think that you are either in or out in a marriage, and you appear out.

I will keep the Kia and the Camaro.  There is very little equity, if any, in the Kia.  David can keep the Taurus and we can put the title in his name.  I think you will need to make other arrangements for a car and insurance for Thomas, if you think that is a good idea.

I would suggest that you do a change of address form with the post office.

At this point I think it is best if we communicate through email.  Perhaps that may change sometime, but at this point I fell like a ”woman scorned”.   I would prefer that you not come to the Royalgreen house and I will do the same for Stonegate.  Let me know which email you prefer.

I would propose that we wait until November 15th and then split whatever is in the bank account and put any credit cards in separate our separate names an no longer use them in a joint capacity.  I have noted that you have not put any expense checks from your work into the joint account since January yet gas and other expenses show up on the Amex.  I will not put any extraordinary charges on the card.  At that point we can also get separate auto insurance policies.

The investments, pensions and retirement funds will be much more tricky.

I suggest that we strictly  adopt the standard custody agreement which I am attaching.  It provides structure.  I will follow Ray’s lead in his divorce settlement in that after Thomas turns 18, I will not have any further obligations.  We shall see how Thomas and I are getting along.  I have paid the health insurance for 21 years but will not  have obligation starting in March.

I am not sure there is too much more to discuss.  I do not see that more counseling will help with infidelity and you seem intent on going down that road wherever it may lead.

I do hope that you will find your peace and happiness at some point.

P.S.

I saw the picture of your ass on your cell phone.  Did you or Ray take it?  It is not very flattering.

Giving Karma, a boost

I ran into a ex-employee and current neighbor of Connections Academy.  I was surprised on how much he disliked Marie Hanna and Raymond Lambert.  Dislike is really an understatement.  He does not appreciate hypocrisy.

He was not surprised and told me about some unnecessary business trips where they both managed to be in the same place.

His health has not been great.  He thinks that they have intentionally soiled his reputation.  He thinks they should both be fired.

I gave him some emails so he would know that I am not full of shit.  Perhps I should invite him to read my blog.
